Al-Ni overspeed switch

Al-Ni “dosn’t get old”, translated from German “Altert nicht” could be the reason for the type designation of the 25 years ago invented Al-Ni 5 speed monitor.

Due to its durable construction and high functionality it became popular at it’s
customers. It generates its supply voltage itself and needs no external voltage supply. In order to modernise the Al-Ni 5 for the next millenium, it was reconstructed lately to new version Al-Ni 6.

"The new one" kept all advantages of its predecessor. So it is 100 % downward-compatibly and possesses the same connection dimension and function characteristics. With the new control electronics it is possible to adjust the speed range from 60 to 6000 min-1 with two relay outputs (380V/5A; 230V/5A ) or optional an analogue output of 0-5V in function to the number of revolutions.

The housing consists of high-quality industrial plastic, which reduces the weight and increased the robustness. The main applications of the Al-Ni speed monitors are in applications such as crane installations, conveyor belts, water turbines,
mining, steel industries, ect.
